Counselor In Training Summer Camp

Our Counselor In Training Program offers teens the ability to gain work experience in a fun, horse centered environment. Our CIT's will assist in our Horse Lover's Camp, providing a helping hand to younger campers, leading an arts and crafts activity, assisting with barn management to include cleaning stalls, refilling water buckets, and providing general horse care. CIT's will have a riding lesson in the afternoon, will participate in all camp activities and games.

2 Girls on Horseback

What to expect:

Each day will begin with a group riding lesson for the Horse Lover's Club. CIT's will assist in grooming, tacking, and leading Horse Lover's campers in the lesson under supervision of the camp instructor.  After riding, CIT's will bathe, and provide lunch to horses, assist in a horse science activity, or other barn management needs. We will then all break for lunch. CIT's will help lead a craft activity or take a group to the barn for a hands on horse science session.  CIT's will then tack up their own horses for their afternoon lesson/ride time while Horse Lover's are cooling off in the pool.
