Lesson Horse Lease
$575
per month - $700 per month*
Includes:
·
Designated 2 days per week – ride or barn
time
·
1 of those 2 days will be a scheduled
group riding lesson
· Preferred lesson scheduling
·
Eligible to show at local shows as well as
4H Local, Area, and State**
·
Receive 1 allowance per month of lesson
cancelation or Saturday volunteer work for notice given less than 24 hours to
HCF. That lesson will be rescheduled within 2 weeks. All other cancelled
lessons shall be forfeited.
·
Reduced show fees: Hauling/Schooling local
day show $80.00 (Normally $140)
Responsibilities:
·
Rider must know how to properly care and
tack horse on their own
·
Rider and Adult must attend a barn safety
session prior to the start of the lease
·
Rider will be accompanied by an adult
(18+) at all times if not already previously arranged with Lessor
·
Exercise horse at least 2 times per week
·
Clean stall at least 2x per week (can
include Saturday)
·
2 Saturday scheduled volunteer work
sessions from 10:00AM – 12:00PM
Notes:
·
Horse will be also used for lessons during
days that are not scheduled
·
Horse will always remain on the property
unless permission has been given in writing from Lessor.
Insurance will be required for such event.
·
Lessee will be allowed to use Lessor tack
during lease with condition of proper care, maintenance, and will pay for
repair if damaged during use as further described in the Lease Agreement.
·
Horse may be used for a younger or less
experienced rider in the Walk-Trot Local Shows. If that Walk-Trot rider attends
a show, your hauling/schooling fee will be $0.00.
·
Lease terms subject to change with
provided 30-day notice.
**Rider must qualify at AREA to attend the STATE 4H Show
